From vintage ELO classics such as ‘Mr. Blue Sky’, ‘Evil Woman’ and ‘Livin’ Thing’, to ‘Handle With Care’, recorded with the Traveling Wilburys, the career-spanning concert was performed for a capacity crowd of 60,000 fans.

This spectacular edition chronicles the show’s production and through text by Lynne offers a rare insight into his musical vision. WEMBLEY OR BUST is limited to only 1,500 signed copies worldwide, now available to order ahead of publication.

“I first heard Chuck Berry’s ‘Roll Over Beethoven’ in the late Fifties, and then of course The Beatles did it in 1963. My version has some daft classical bits – Beethoven intermingled with rock‘n’roll.” – Jeff Lynne

For the making of this book, Jeff Lynne’s ELO was dramatically captured in thousands of photographs taken from all vantage points within Wembley Stadium. These original photographs are reproduced in this lavishly illustrated volume, from backstage to front of house, plus tour memorabilia and ephemera.

Look Inside

“We were recording in Munich, not far from Stuttgart where a prototype vocoder had been built. It came with some plugs but that was about it, so it took two days to learn how to use. ‘Mr. Blue Sky’ is the best example. It was magic…” – Jeff Lynne
